WE NAILED IT!!! The perfect DF Ranch Dressing!! Woohoo!???
We’ve been experimenting with so many different combinations before coming up with what we think is the BEST dairy free ranch dressing.??
Now, I’m the first one to admit that ranch dressing isn’t a health food, and mayo certainly isn’t considered a health food. That said, we eat pretty darn well most of the time, so having a really good mayo based ranch dressing from time to time is perfectly ??. We have tried making our own mayo, used vegan mayo, paleo mayo, primal mayo, even avocados as a base for this dressing, and they just don’t quite cut it among my 4 teenagers. So, we used Hellman’s with olive oil, and added some other herbs and goodies to make a pretty darn good ranch dressing that even our dairy-free eaters can have and love!
Here is the recipe:
- 1 c mayo
- 2 T. Kite Hill almond milk plain cream cheese
- 1 T. Apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. Minced fresh garlic
- 1 t. Onion powder
- 2 t. Dried parsley
- 2 t. Dried dill
- 1/4 t. Sea salt
- Dash pepper
Throw em all into a food processor until well combined. Stays good in the fridge for about a week, but I guarantee it won’t last that long! Enjoy!
